In the name of God Amen The first day of July In The yeare of our Lord God 1679 I Thomas Sills of Plungar In The Countie of Leicester Carpinter Being Sick In body But of perfect Memory And understanding praysed be God doe Make And ordaine this My Last will And testament In manner and form following

First I Commend my Soule Into The Hands of Almighty God My onely Saviour And Redeemer And my body to bee buryed In the Church yard of Plungar

It I Give unto My Son Robert Sills My best bed And My best Coverlid And Curtaines And A blankitt with all fourniture belonging to a Bed

Itm I give unto my Son one Table And frame And a form belonging unto it

Itm one Great pan one Brass pott one ew and Lamb and five pounds of Good and Lawfull English Money to be paid unto my Son Robert Sills by my wife or by her Assignes when he Commeth to the Age of fourteene yeares to put him to a Trade if they think it Convenient if not Then it is My will That The Mony Shall Be paid unto him At The Age of one And Twentie yeares

All The rest of My Goods unbequeathed I Give unto Jane My wife whome I Make My Soule Executor of This My Last will And Testament whereof I have hereunto set my hand And Seal The day And yeare first Above written
