I Mary Shelton of Goadby Marwood in the County of Leicester widow Do make This my Last Will and Testament in manner following

I give to my niece Ann Hoe of Hose Lodge in the said county my china Tea Service And I give and devise all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my personal Property whatsoever and wheresoever the same may be at the time of my decease and all my other property of what nature or kind soever to my nephew Thomas Carter the younger of Waltham in the said county for his own use and benefit absolutely

And I appoint the said Thomas Carter Executor of this my Will

In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal this 10th day of September One thousand eight hundred and forty two

Thomas Carter the Younger of Waltham in the County of Leicester Butcher the sole executor in this Will named was duly sworn to the truth and faithful performance thereof as usual and that the Goods Chattels and Credits of the deceased without deducting any debts owing by her therefrom do not amount in value to the sum of one hundred pounds and that the deceased died on the nineteenth day of September last
