This is the last Will and Testament of me Sarah Sharpe of Scalford in the County of Leicester Widow

I give and bequeath all my Money Securities for Money Plate Linen Household Furniture and all other my personal Estate and Effects unto my Son Richard and William Latham of Melton Mowbray in the said County of Leicester Attorney at law upon Trust that they shall in the first place pay thereout all my debts funeral and testamentary expences and then divide the residue into six equal parts or shares and pay one of such parts or shares unto each of my five children Thomas John Mary Ann [there is no punctuation but the third child is Mary Ann] Sarah and Richard and I direct that they shall pay the remaining such part or share to my Grandson George Richard Storer on his attaining the age of Twenty one years the Interest in the meantime to accumulate for his benefit and in case he dies before that time the said Legacy and Interest to be divided equally amongst all my children who shall be living at his death

And I appoint my said Son Richard and the said William Latham joint Executors of this my Will

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this sixteenth day of September One thousand eight hundred and fifty eight

Signed published and declared by the said Sarah Sharpe the Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our Names as Witnesses

Proved 28th June 1859 by the Oaths of Richard Sharpe Son of the deceased and William Lathan the executors to whom was granted execution

Sworn under £450 and that the Testatrix died on or about the 25th day of February 1859
