Mary Sarson of Stathern 1726 Will and Inventory

In the name of God Amen I Mary Serson Widdow doe this twenty fourth day of November in the year of Lord cht 1724 being sound in mind and calling my own mortality to remembrance praised be God make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following
First of all I give and bequeath my soul into the hands of my Almighty Creator hopeing for mercy and eternal Salvation through the merits of Christ Jesus my Savour and my Body when it shall please God to take my soul to him to be byried with Christian burial by my Executor hereafter mentioned
All my worldly goods and Chattells I give and bequeath in manner and form following
Imprimis I give to my Grandchild Mary Serson the sum of twenty pounds of good and lawful money of England being part of the money now in the Hands of John Goodwin of Creton also to my Grandchild Barbara Serson I give the sum of twenty pounds of good and lawful money of England being part of the money which I have in the hands of John Goodwin of Creton Also I give to my grand child Elizabeth Serson the Sum of twenty pounds of good and lawful money of England being part of the money which I have in the hands of John Goodwin of Creton and to my Grand child John Serson I give the sum of twenty pounds of good and lawful money of England being part of the money which I have in the hands of John Goodwin of Creton which four several sums being added together make up the sum of four score pounds which I have in his hands in the said John Goodwin hands
I also give to my Grand Child George Serson the sum of fifteen pounds of good and lawful money of England
I also farther give to my Grandchildren George Searson and Mary Searson all my Household goods except what is hereafter excepted to be equally divided between the said George and Mary
I give to my above named Grandchild Elizabeth Serson one feather Bed
I give to my above named grandchild John Searson one brass pott
To my Cosen John Goodwin I give my steel mill
To my Cosen Robert Goodwin of Scotlethorp I give the sum of twenty shillings of England
And all the rest of my Goods and chattels I give to the said Robert Goodwin of Scotlethorp whom I doe make whole and sole Executor of this my last will and Testament hereby revokeing all other wills by me made and doe hereby further enjoyn my Executor to bury my Body in a decent manner to pay all my Debts and Legacies
In witness whereof I have at Creton in the County of Lincoln the day and year before mentioned set my hand and seal
