George Rouse of Hose 1752 Will and Inventory

I George Rous of Hose in the County of Leicester Blacksmith this Twenty Seventh Day of July Anno Dom 1744 do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following

Imprimis I Give unto my son Tho: Rous one Shilling

Item I Give unto my Son John Rous one Shilling

Item I give unto my Son George Rous one Shilling

Item I give unto my Daughter Frances Allen Wife of William Allen one Shilling

Item I Give unto my Daughter Mary Everatt one Shilling to be paid within Six Months after my Decease

Item I give unto my Loving Wife Mary Rous my part of the Wind Mill in Claxton otherwise Long Clawson in the County of Leicester aforesaid and also a House and Orchard with the Appurtenances thereunto Belonging in Claxton otherwise Long Clawson in the County of Leicester aforesaid now in the Tenure and occupation of Robert Leake unto my Loving Wife untill my Son William Rous shall attain the Age of twenty one years and then I Give my above said part of the Wind Mill and House and Orchard with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto my Son William Rouse and to his Heirs for ever

Further it is my Will my Loving Wife Mary Rouse being with Child if it be a Son or a Daughter I give to it the Sum of two Pounds to be paid at twenty one years of Age or at the day of marriage which shall first happen

In Case my Son William Rous die and leave no Issue my Will is that my Child whether Son or Daughter I Give him or her my Said part of the wind mill and House and Orchard with the appurtenances thereunto belonging when he or she shall attain the Age of Twenty one years of Age but if they all Die I give my Said part of the Wind Mill and House and Orchard with the appurtenances thereunto belonging I Give unto my Loving Wife Mary Rouse for and During her natural Life

And as for the Rest and Residue of my Estate and Goods Bills and Bonds of what kind soever I give unto my Loving Wife Mary Rous and my Son Wm Rous their heirs or assigns whom I make full and Sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament and Revoaking and making void all other Wills by me heretofore made

In Wittness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament Sett to my Hand and Seal the day and Year first above Written
