This is the last Will and Testament of me John Rodgers of Eaton in the County of Leicester Farmer
I devise all my real Estate unto my dear Wife Ann and her Assigns for and during the term of her natural life And after her death I devise the same unto my Son Samuel Simpson Rodgers his heirs and assigns
I bequeath all my Personal Estate (subject to the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses) unto my said Wife and I appoint her Sole Executrix of this my Will
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this Twenty fourth day of July in the year One thousand eight hundred and seventy six

Signed by the said John Rodgers in the presence of us present at the same time who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses

Proved at Leicester on the Sixth day of December by the Oath of Ann Rodgers Widow, the Relict, the Sole Executrix to whom administration was granted
The Testator John Rodgers was late of Eaton in the County of Leicester Farmer and died on the Twenty first day of October 1880 at Eaton aforesaid
