Anthony Rodgers of Eaton 1771 Will

In the Name of God Amen I Anthony Rogers of Eaton in the County of Leicester Yeoman Infirme in Body but Sound in Mind and Memory and Considering the Uncertainty of this Life Doe Make and Ordain this my Last Will and Testament in Manner and form following (That is to Say)

First of All I Give my Soul to God that Gave it And my Body I Committ to the Earth to be Decently Interred at the Discretion of my Executor here in After Named

And as for my Worldly Estate which hath pleased God to bless me with I Give and Dispose thereof as Follows

In the first place I Give to my Loveing Wife Elizabeth Rogers the furneture of that Chamber Over the Parler wher I Now Lye

And Allso I Give and Devise All and Singular my Land Tenements and Hereditaments Whatsoever Situate Standing lying and being in Eaton in the Said County of Leicester Aforesaid or in the Severall Fields liberties and Territories there of or Else Where Within the Kingdom of Great Britain Unto my Son Anthoney Rogers His Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for Ever

And All so I Give & Bequeath Unto my Son Thomas Rogers the Sum of One Hundred And fifty pounds when he Cums to the Age of Twenty One Years

And Allso I Give & Bequeath Unto my Daughter Elizabeth Rogers the Sum of three score and ten pounds when she Cums to the Age of Twenty One Years

And Allso All the Rest residue and Remainder of my Goods Cattle Chattles Rights Credits and Personal Estate Whatsoever (My Legacies and Funerall Expences being first paid and Discharged) I Give and Bequeath Unto my said Son Anthony Rogers Whom I Make full and Sole Executor of this my last will and Testament Revoking All former Wills by me Heretofore Made Declaring this to be my last will and Testament

In Wittness whereof I the said Anthony Rogers the Testator have here Unto put my hand and seal this 28th Day of October in the Year of Our Lord One thousand Seven Hundred and fifty four
