Isaac Poyzer of Stathern 1884 Will

This is the last Will and Testament of me Isaac Poyzer of Stathern in the County of Leicester Cottager

First I direct all my just debts funeral and testamentary expences to be fully paid then I Give and bequeath unto my friend William Standiline of Wyvel Lodge in the County of Lincoln Farmer his Executor Administrator and assigns All my Goods Cattle ready money in the Bank and Elsewhere and all my personal property of whatsoever nature or kind the same may be and consist of Upon Trust for the benefit of my Wife Mary Ann Poyzer and for her to receive the proceeds thereof for and during her life and I hereby authorize and empower the said William Standiline hereinafter called my Trustee to advance to my said Wife any portion of my said ready money she may require for her maintenance and the occupying and continuing the Cottage and Land which I rent of His Grace the Duke of Rutland and which I humbly pray His Grace will permit her to do

And from and immediately after the decease of my said Wife I direct my said Trustee to equally divide the whole of the remainder of my said ready money in equal parts between my three Children Caroline Wright Susannah Harrison and Jessey Alias Arthur Poyzer to whom I Give and bequeath the same accordingly and as to my said goods Cattle and the remainder of my Personal Estate I Give and Bequeath the same absolutely unto my youngest Daughter the said Susannah Harrison for her Sole use and benefit and not to be subject to the controul of her husband

And I appoint the said William Standiline Executor of this my Will

In Witness whereof I the said Isaac Poyzer the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand this Sixth day of June One thousand eight hundred and eighty two

Signed Published and declared by the said Isaac Poyzer the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other at the same time set our hands as Witnesses thereto

Proved at Leicester on the Ninth day of February 1884 by the Oath of William Staniland (in the Will written as Standiline) the sole Executor to whom administration was granted

The Testator Isaac Poyzer was late of Stathern in the County of Leicester Cottager and died on the Twenty fifth day of April 1883 at Stathern aforesaid

Gross Personal Estate £200.10.6.  No deduction.
