John Pollard of Hickling 1725 Will, Inventory and Bond

Octr 27 1723

In the Name of God amen

I John Pollard of Hickling Labourer being sick and weak in Body Butt of perfect Mind and Memory Blessed be God for itt do Make and ordain this My Last will and testament in manner and form following: that is to say

First I Command [sic] My Sole in to the hands of allmighty god hoping threw the Merritts of My Saviour Jesus Christ to have for giveness of all My Sins and My body I Committ to the Earth to be decently buried att the Charge of My Excetor hereafter Named and as for the Worley Estate which god hath been pleased to be stow upon Mee I give and dispose as followeth

Item I give to My Son John Pollord Living in Hickling My chest and My Mare allso I give him forty Shillings to be paid by My Exceter with in twelve Months after my decease with all My Clothing working and living

Item I give to My daughter Mary Marratts 5 Children John and Mary Elizabeth and Anne and Sary the sume of five pounds that is to say twenty shillings to each of them as they Come to the age of twenthy and one yeares By My Son John Pollord above mentioned

Item I give to My daughter Margarett Musson Living att Fosstone [Foston?] the sume of five pounds to be paid within twelve months after My decease By my Exceter hereafter named

All the Rest and Residue of My goods Cattle and Chattles whatsoever I go give and bequeath unto My son Robert Barlow whom I make Sole Executor of this My Last will and testament Revoking all other wills Maid by Mee in wittness whereof I have sett to My hand and Seale the day and yeare first above written
