In the Name of God Amen the Eight and Twentieth day of November in the yeare of our Lord God One Thowsand Six Hundred Fifitie Fower I William Pilkinton of Cropwell Butler in Countie of Nottingham Single man though weake in body yet stronge in mynde and perfect memory thanks be to the Almighty for itt doe make and ordayne this my last will and Testament in manner and forme followinge

First I give and bequeath my soule into the hands of Allmighty god my maker and redeemer and my body to be buryed in the Churchyard or parrish Church of Tythby

Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my brother Thomas Pilkintons Children every one of them Five Pounds

Item I give and bequeath unto my brother Patricks Children to every one of them Five pounds in parte whereof hee hath receive Eight pounds

Item I give and bequeath unto my brother Richard Sisonn Twelve pence, and to his two Children each of them, Three pounds

Item I give and bequeath unto my Servant Peter Roe the Some of Tenn pounds to be payd to him within three moneths next after my decease

I give unto him all my weareinge Clothes and as much newe Cloth as will make him a suite, and I give unto him as much lynine Cloth as will make him a wyndinge sheete Conteyninge five yards and the bed that hee useth to lye in sufficiently furnished and two of my best Ewes, and I give unto him two Hives of Bees and one Little Brass pott and two sheepecribs

Item I give unto my mayde Servant ten shillings

Item I give unto Anne Waineman five shillings

Itm I give unto my man Servant and my Maid servant one moneths Table after my decease

Item itt is my will that the executors performe the Bargaine made betwixte me and my Servant Peter Roe of …beringe his Sheepe

Item the rest of my goods and Chattels ungiven I give unto my brother Thomas Pilkinton and to Patricke Cocks whome I make and ordayne Executors of this my last will and Testament, and the goods to be equally devided betwixt them

This Will was proved att London the Seaventeenth day of January in the yeare of our Lord God One Thowsand Six Hundred Fiftie and Six English Stile Before the Judges for Probate of Wills and graunting Adcons lawfully authorized by the Oathes of Thomas Pilkinton and Pattricke Cocke Executors named in the sayd Will To whome was Committed Administracon of all and Singular the goods Chattles and debts of the sayd deceased They beinge first legallie Sworne by Comission well and truly to Administer the Same
