This is the last Will and Testament of me Mary Ann Pettifor of Scalford in the County of Leicester Widow

I devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever (except estates vested in me as trustee or mortgagee) unto and to the use of my friends Thomas Morris of Wycomb in the said County of Leicester farmer and William Thomas Kirk of Scalford aforesaid farmer their heirs executors administrators and assigns respectively Upon trust that they the said Thomas Morris and William Thomas Kirk or the survivor of them or the heirs executors and administrators respectively of such survivor (hereinafter referred to as “my said trustees or trustee”) shall in such manner and under such stipulations and upon such terms and conditions in all respects as they or he, my said trustees or trustee, shall in their or his discretion think fit sell collect or otherwise convert into ready money (according to the nature of the premises) all such parts of the same premises as shall not consist of ready money And I direct that my said trustees or trustee shall stand possessed of the moneys to be produced by such sale collection and conversion and the ready money of which I shall died possessed (subject to the payment of my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts) In trust for all my children (including any who may have died during my lifetime leaving issue living at my death) who being a son or sons shall have attained or shall attain the age of twenty one years or being a daughter or daughters shall have attained or shall attain that age or shall marry under that age in equal shares

I devise all estates vested in me a trustee or mortgagee unto the said Thomas Morris and William Thomas Kirk their heirs and assigns subject to the trusts and equities affecting the same

I appoint the said Thomas Morris ad William Thomas Kirk the Executors of this my Will and I revoke all testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me

In witness whereof I the said Mary Ann Pettifor have hereunto set my hand this twenty second day of March One thousand eight hundred and eighty

Signed and acknowledged by the said Mary Ann Pettifor as and for her last Will in the presence of us present at the same time who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses the said Mary Ann Pettifor being blind the same was carefully read over to her previous to its execution in our presence and she seemed fully to understand the contents thereof

Proved at Leicester the twenty fourth day of February 1891 by the Oaths of Thomas Morris and William Thomas Kirk the Executors to whom Administration was granted

The Testatrix Mary Ann Pettifor was formerly of Scalford but late of Kirby Bellars both in the County of Leicester Widow and died on the seventh day of January 1891 at Kirby Bellars aforesaid
