Know all men by these presents that I Alice Pennyston of Harby in the County of Leicester Widow for & in consideration of the Sume of ten pounds of good & lawfull money of Great Britain to my son in Law Thomas Jackson in hand paid by my son in Law Francis Taylor of Harby aforesaid Labourer at or before the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and in consideration of the yearly Annuity of two & fifty shillings of Lawfull money of Great Britain secured to be paid to me the said Alice Pennystone or my Assigns yearly & every year during my natural life by the said Francis Taylor And for diverse other good considerations me the said Alice Pennystone hereunto moving I the said Alice Pennystone have Granted Bargained Sold delivered and confirmed and by these presents Doe for my selfe my heirs Extors & Adtors and every of us Grant Bargain let deliver & confirme unto the said Francis Taylor his Extors Adtors & assigns All and every of my Quick stock as Bease & Sheep and all & every of my household goods Chattells rights Creddits & personal Estate of what kind or nature soever & wheresoever the same shall or may be found (my wearing apparel onely excepted) To have and To hold all & Singlar the aforesaid premises with their appts & every part & parcel thereof (Except before Excepted) unto the said Francis Taylor his Extors Adtors & assigns To the onely proper use & behoofe of the said Francis Taylor his Extors Adtors & assigns for ever and to & for none other use intent or purpose whatsoever

And I the said Alice Pennystone & my heirs all & Singlar the before granted & Released premises with their appts & every part & parcel thereof unto the said Francis Taylor his Extors Adtors & assigns against me the said Alice Pennystone my heirs Extors & Adtors & every of us and against all & every other person & persons whatsoever shall & will warrant & forever defend by these presents

In Wittnesse whereof I the said Alice Pennystone have hereunto set my hand & Seal the twenty ninth day of May in the seaventh year of the reign of our Soveraign lord George by the grace of God of Great Britain France & Ireland King defender of the faith &c Anno Dom 1721
