In the Name of God amen I William Pell of Plungar in the County of Leicester yeoman being in a Good State of Health and of perfect Mind and Memory blessed by God for the Same Do Make this my Last will and Testament in Manner and Form following

First I Recommend my Soul into the Hands of allmighty God hoping thro his Mercy and the Merits of My Dear Saviour Jesus Christ to obtain Remission of all my Sins and my Body I commit to the Earth to be Decently and Christianly buried by the Expence of my Son Richd Pell

Allso I Give and bequeath to my Gransun William Pell the full Sum of fifteen pounds to be paid when he Shall a Rive to the age of twenty one years of age

Allso I Give and bequeath to my Grandaughter Mary Pell the full Sum of foure pounds to be paid when Shee Shall a Rive to age of twentey one year of age

Allso I Give and bequeath to my Granson Richard Pell the full Sum of foure pounds to be paid when he Shall a Rive to the age of twenty one years of age but if in case William Mary or Richard should Dye before tha Should A Rive the age of twenty one years of age their fortaines is to be Devided to the Living

The 21st Day of April 1748 Richard Pell was sworn Administrator with the within written Will annext for the use benefit & advantage of his Children William & Mary Pell who are both minors And made Oath that the Deced’s Personal Estate was not worth Twenty Pounds
