Elizabeth Parr of Ab Kettleby 1736 Will

In the Name of God amen I Elizabeth Parr of Abb Kettleby in the County of Leicester Widow being in health of body and of Sound and perfect Mind and Understanding do make my last Will in Manner following (that is to say)

First I resign my Soul into the Hands of almighty God my Creator and my body I committ to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executrix hereinafter named and as for my personal Goods and estate I dispose of the same as followes vizt

I give and bequeath Unto my Grandson Parr Greaves a Table a bed and bedding with its feather bed one Gold ring one Silver Spoon a Coppar and a Chest one Table Cloth four Napkins and two flaxen Sheets to be delivered to him within Six months after my death

Item I give and devise Unto John Stevens of Wartnaby in the County of Leic his executors admors and assignes all that my Cottage or Tenement with the homestead and backside thereto belonging with their appurtenances Situate and Standing in Abb Kettleby aforesaid wherein I now dwell In trust nevertheless for the use and benefit of my Grandson John Greaves untill he attain his age of Eighteen years and from and after he shall attain his age of eighteen years then I give and devise my Said Cottage or Tenement and premises Unto my Said Grandson John Greaves and his heires for ever

Item I give and bequeath unto my said Grandson John Greaves all the rest of my Goods Chattles Cattle & personal estate whatsoever to be delivered to him immediately after my death willing that his Mother Elizabeth Greaves shall take out of the same all such necessary Charges as she shall sustain in proving and executing this my will

Lastly I make my daughter Elizabeth Greaves full and sole executrix of this my Will declaring this to be my last will and testament

Item I give unto my kinsman John Branson Son of Tho Branson two Guineas and to the poor five shillings

In Witness whereof I the said Elizabeth Parr have hereunto set my hand and Seale this six and twentieth day of September Anno dni 1732
