In the name of god amen I Emmet Patchet of Statherne in the County of Leicester widowe, though sicke in body yet of good and perfect memory thanks be given to Almighty god doe ordaine and make this my last will and testament in manner and forme folowing

First I comend my soule to almighty god trusting to be saved by the onely death and passion of Jesus Christe and by no other meanes, and my body to be buried in the Churchyard of Statherne

Ite, I give to my daughter Anne Howton a Cowe, and all the rest of my goods whatsoever I doe now inioy by gods blessing I give to my twoe sones and my daughter by equall portion to be devided amonkst them

And in witnesse hereof I have set to my marke the third of Aprill 1617
