In the name of God Amen I William Nedham of Saxilby in the County of Leicester Gent beeing sick & weak of Body but of sound & perfect mind & Memory do make & ordain this my last will & Testament in manner & forme following That is to say

I give my Body to the Ground in sure & Certain hope of the Resurrection & my Soul I commit into the Hands of Jesus Christ my blessed Saviour & Redeemer & my Worldly Goods I dispose of in Manner following

I give to my daughter Ann Cant & to my Grandson John Ludlam & to all the Sonns & Daughters of Mr John Cant of Wartnaby I give to each of them a Guiny & I give to my maid Ann Collishaw Ten Shillings & ten Shillings to the Poor of Parish of Saxilby

My Land in the Field of Grimston & my Lease at Saxilby, I give to my Wife Mary for her Life & after her decease I give them to my Grandson John Ludlam for ever

All the rest & residue of my estate I give to my Wife Mary whom I make Executor of this my last Will & Testament

In Witnesse whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal the Fifteenth day of March in the Year of our Lord God one Thousand Six Hundred & Eighty
