This is the last Will of me William Musson of Holwell in the County of Leicester Innkeeper
I give to my Daughter in Law Elizabeth Warn of London my best Feather Bed
I give and bequeath all my Furniture Linen and other Household effects (except the said Feather Bed) my Stock in Trade and Implements and all other my Personal Estate to my Nephew John Chester who lives with me absolutely
I give and devise my Public House with the Garden and premises thereto adjoining and belonging situate in Holwell aforesaid in my own occupation and all other (if any) the Real Estate of which I shall die possessed to Alfred Pywell of Melton Mowbray in the County of Leicester Solicitors Clerk and to his heirs and assigns Upon trust to sell the same at any time and with and out of the purchase money arising therefrom to pay my Funeral and Testamentary expenses and debts including Mortgage debts, and dispose of the residue as follows (that is to say)
To pay to each of my 4 Daughters in Law Susannah Chester, Sarah Marriott, the said Elizabeth Warn and Margaret Thorpe a Legacy of Thirteen pounds ten shillings
To my Niece Alice Wragg of Albion Street Leicester a Legacy of Forty pounds
To my Brother Thomas Musson of Scalford Ten pounds
To my Nephews Thomas Musson Clayton of Long Clawson and William Clayton of Derby a Legacy of Ten pounds each
To my Niece Mrs Louisa Thorn of Dewsbury (Yorks) a Legacy of Ten pounds
And after retaining Five pounds as an acknowledgment for the trouble he will have in carrying out the Trusts of this my Will to pay the balance of the said residue to the said John Chester
And I appoint the said Alfred Pywell sole Executor of this my Will hereby revoking all other testamentary dispositions by me at any time heretofore made

Proved at Leicester on the fourth day of December 1885 by the Oath of Alfred Pywell the sole Executor to whom Administration was granted
The Testator William Musson was late of Holwell in the County of Leicester Gentleman and died on the fourteenth day of November 1885 at Holwell aforesaid
Personal Estate Gross £17.0.0. No deduction.
