This is the last Will and Testament of me William Morris of Eaton in the County of Leicester

After payment of all my just debts, funeral and other expences, I give, bequeath, and devise, unto (my Mother) Mary Morris of Eaton in the county of Leicester, farmer, for her life, all my real and personal estate and afterwards to (my brother) Samuel Morris of Eaton in the County of Leicester

And I hereby appoint the said Mary Morris sole executrix

As Witness my hand this Thirty first day of December One thousand eight hundred and sixty nine

Proved at Leicester on the Twentieth day of February 1878 by the Oath of Mary Morris Widow the Mother to Sole Executrix to whom Administration was granted.  The Letters of Administration of the Personal Estate and Effects of the said Deceased granted by the Authority of Her Majesty’s High Court of Justice at the District Registry at Leicester in the month of January 1878 to the said Mary Morris on the suggestion that he died intestate having been brought in and revoked and declared null and void by Order of one of the Registrars of the Principal Registry date the Seventh day of February 1878

The Testator William Morris was late of Eaton in the County of Leicester Farmer and died on the Twenty sixth day of October 1877 at Eaton aforesaid
