In the Name of God Amen I Samuel Morley of Harby in the County of Leicester being weak and sick in Body but of a sound and well disposing Mind Memory and Understanding praised be Almighty God for the same Do make publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)

First I Give and Devise to my Wife Sarah Morley all that Messuage Cottage or Tenement together with the Homestead Yard Garden and Orchard and all other the Outbuildings thereunto adjoining and belonging with their Appurtenances situate standing lying and being in Hickling in the County of Nottingham and now in the Tenure or Occupation of Thomas Swain his under Tenants or Assigns which said Premises to hold unto my said Wife Sarah Morley during the Term of her natural Life and from and after her Decease I then give and Devise the aforesaid Messuage Cottage or Tenement together with the Homestead Yard Garden and Orchard and all other the Out buildings thereunto adjoining and belonging with their Appurtenances in Hickling aforesaid unto my son John Morley his Heirs and Assigns forever but Subject nevertheless to and with the payment of the following Legacies to my Sons and Daughters hereinafter named

Namely to my Sons Samuel Morley Richard Morley and to my Daughters Ann Morley Sarah White the now wife of Thomas White Margaret Morley Mary White the now Wife of James White Elizabeth Morley the Sum of five Pounds each of good and lawfull Money of Great Britain which said Legacies to be paid to my said respective Children at the end of twelve Months next after my said Wifes Decease

But my Mind and Will further is that if any of the said Legacies is not duly paid at the time hereinbefore mentioned to my said Sons and Daughters that then he she or they or any of them shall enter into and upon the said Premises or any part or parcel thereof to take Seize Levy and Distress and the expences of such Distress shall be Levied upon the said Premises or any part thereof

And Lastly all the rest residue and Remainder of my Goods Chattles and Effects personal Estate of what nature or kind soever and wheresoever the same is or are I Give and bequeath to my said Wife Sarah Morley she paying my just Debts and Funeral expences

And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint her my said Wife Sarah Morley whole and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament (wrote upon two Sheets of Paper to the first whereof I have set my hand and Seal as well to the last my hand and Seal) revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made

In Witness whereof I the said Testator Samuel Morley have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and Seal this eight day of November one thousand eight hundred

NB The words interlined was duly made before the Testator signed the same

Signed Sealed published and Declared by the said Testator Samuel Morley as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have Subscribed our Names as Witness hereto and at the request of the said Testator in his presence and in the presence of each other

Let a probat be made to Sarah Morley of Cold Newton Widow the sole Executrix within named

She being duly sworn as well to the faithful Execution of the Will as that the Testators Good Chattels & Credits do not amount in value to the sum of One hundred pounds
