In the Name of God amen November the 23 1723 I Samuell Morely Senr of Hickling in the County of Nottingham Cordwinder being of perfect memory do make and ordain this My Last will and testament in manner and form following That is to say

First I commend my soul into the hands of all Mighty god hoping throu the merritts death and passion of Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon of all my sins and to inherit everlasting life and as for the worldly estate that god hath been please to bestow upon mee I give and bequeath as followeth

First I will that my funeral charges be paid and discharged

Item I give my son John Morley twenty pounds to be paid by my Executor hereafter mentioned within twelve months after my decease

Item I give to my son Richard Morley the sum of twenty pounds to be paid within twelve months after my decease by my Executor hereafter mentioned

Item I give to my son William Morley my mare

Item I give to my daughter Elizabeth Buttriss one shilling to be paid by my Executor hereafter mentioned

All the rest and residue of my personal estate goods and cattle and chattle whatsoever I do give and bequeath unto my loving son Samuell Morley whom I make to be Executor of this My Last will and testament revoking all other wills heretofor maid by mee in witness whereof I have sett to my hand and seal the day and year first above written
