In the Name of God Amen I Sarah Marshall of Scalford in the County of Leicester Widow being of sound and disposing mind and memory praised be God for the same having revoked all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and Form following that is to say

In the first place I commit my body to the Earth to be decently interred at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter named

And as to that worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I give and bequeath the same as followeth

Imprimis I give and devise unto my Sister Esther Falkener of Scalford aforesaid Widow all that Messuage or Tenement with the Appurtenances in Scalford aforesaid now in the tenure or Occupation of Robert Pallett his Under Tennants or Assigns and also all those several peices and parcels of Arrable Land Ley Meadow Pasture and Grass Ground with the Appurtenances scituate lyeing and being dispersedly in the common and open Feilds Libertyes Precincts and Territories of Scalford aforesaid containing by Estimation and commonly reputed to be two yard Lands and now in the Tenure or Occupation of the said Robert Pallett his Under Tennants or Assigns And also all that Cottage or Tenement with the Appurtenances in Scalford aforesaid now in the Tenure or Occupation of John Smart his Assignee or Assigns and also all that other Cottage or Tenement with the Appurtenances in Scalford aforesaid Now in the Tenure or Occupation of William Brudenell and William Crecall their Assignee or Assigns and also all other my Messuages Cottages Closes Lands Tenements and Hereditaments with the Appurtenances in Scalford aforesaid in the Fields and Libertyes thereof To hold all the above mentioned Premisses with the Appurtenances unto my said Sister Esther Falkener for and during the Term of her natural life and from and immediately after her decease I give and bequeath all the said Premisses with their and every of their Appurtenances unto my Nephew William Falkener Gent his Heirs and Assigns for ever

Item I give unto the poor of Scalford aforesaid forty Shillings to be distributed at my Funeral by my Executor herein after named

Item I give to the poor of Scalford aforesaid the Sum of ten pounds to be put out at Interest in the names of the Minister and Church Wardens of Scalford aforesaid for the time being and the yearly Interest Produce and Profitt thereof to be given away yearly for ever to the poor Inhabitants of  Scalford aforesaid on the Feast Day of St Thomas the Apostle by the Minister and Church Wardens of Scalford aforesaid for the time being

Item I give unto my said Sister Esther Falkener the Use of all and singular my Household Goods Books Linnen and Plate for and during the Term of her natural life and from and after her decease I give and bequeath the same unto my said Nephew William Falkener his Executors and Administrators

All the Rest and Residue of my Goods and Chattles and Personal Estate of what Nature and kind soever not herein before bequeathed I give and bequeath the same unto my said Nephew William Falkner his Executors Administrators and Assigns for his and their own proper Use he paying my Debts Legacyes and Funerall Expences and the charges of proving of this my Will

And I hereby make my said Nephew William Falkener Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament
