This is the Last Will and Testament of me James Marriott of Harby in the County of Leicester Retired Labourer Whereby I revoke all former Wills and testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me

I give and bequeath all my plate linen china glass books pictures prints furniture and other household effects unto and equally between all my children and I declare if they are unable to agree as to the equal distribution thereof I appoint William John Place of the City of Nottingham Auctioneer to divide the same equally between my said children and his decision shall be final

I give and devise my messuage with the cowsheds and outbuildings and two acres of land thereto belonging and all other my real and personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my son John Marriott subject to the payment by him thereout of the sum of Fifty pounds each to my sons Joshua Marriott and James Marriott and my daughter Emma Marriott and I appoint my said son John Marriott to be the sole Executor of this my Will

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand to this my Will this eighteenth day of November one thousand nine hundred and eight
