I Daniel Marriott of Long Clawson in the County of Leicester do declare this to be my last Will and Testament
I do give unto my brother Gregory his heirs executors administrators and assigns the house in which I now reside together with the garden and outbuildings therewith appertaining and also the three tenements in the several occupations of Robert Mann, William Caunt and William Scoffins as well as the two closes which I now occupy subject however to the payment of one hundred pounds to my sister Elizabeth the wife of William Stokes and the like sum to my sister Mary the wife of Thomas Abbot
I do give unto my mother all my personal property and I do appoint her my sole Executrix
I do give the above sums unto my two sisters in addition to the sums that have been by my late Father bequeathed from the aforesaid property unto them

In the Court of the Commissary of the Lord Bishop of Lincs In for the Archdeaconry of Leicester
Appeared personally Charles Blagdon of Long Clawson in the County of Leicester Surgeon and Apothecary and made oath that he is one of the subscribed Witnesses to the last Will and Testament of Daniel Marriott late of Long Clawson aforesaid deceased now hereunto annexed and marked with the Letter (A) and that he did see the said Daniel Marriott sign seal and deliver the same as and for his last Will and Testament on the twenty seventh day of August last which was in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty two and that he together with Jane Moore of Long Clawson in the of Leicester Spinster and Thomas Musson of Long Clawson in the County of Leicester Labourer did attest the same as Witnesses on the day month and year aforesaid and that the said Will is in the same state of plight and condition as when executed by the said deceased to the best of the knowledge information and belief of this deponent

On the twenty first day of May one thousand eight hundred and thirty three the said Charles Blagden was duly sworn at Long Clawson in the County of Leicester to the truth of the aforegoing Affidavit
Before me William Greenwood Surrogate to the Commissary
21st May 1833
Let a Probate be made to Elizabeth Marriott widow of Long Clawson the sole Executrix named in the will of the deceased who died on the thirtieth day of November last
She having been duly sworn as well to the faithful Execution of the Will as that the testator’s Goods Chattels and Credits without deducting any debts owing by the deceased therefrom did not amount in value to the Sum of one hundred Pounds
