Henry Mantle of Hose 1868 Will

This is the last Will and Testament of me Henry Mantle of Hose in the County of Leicester Grocer and Draper

I give unto my dear Wife Elizabeth an annuity of Six Shillings per week to be paid to her weekly during the term of her natural life With powers of distress and entry for the recovery thereof in case the same shall be in arrear for the space of two calendar months and I charge the said annuity upon my real estate at Hose aforesaid

I give and devise all my real Estate situate at Hose aforesaid (subject as aforesaid) unto my three Sons Henry John and Frederick their heirs and assigns as Tenants in common

I give and bequeath all my personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever Subject to the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expences unto my said three Sons Henry John and Frederick to be divided equally between then as Tenants in Common And it is my particular Wish and desire that my youngest Son Frederick shall succeed me in the business of a Grocer and Draper which I now carry on

And I appoint my said three Sons joint Executors of this my Will

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty fourth day of March in the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty nine

Proved at Leicester the Eighteenth day of August 1868 by the Oaths of Henry Mantle John Mantle and Frederick Mantle Sons of the deceased the Executors to whom Administration was granted

The Testator Henry Mantle was late of Hose in the County of Leicester Grocer and Draper and died on the twenty first day of March 1867 at Hose aforesaid
