This is the Last Will and Testament of me William Mann of Wymondham in the County of Leicester Farmer as follows

Imprimis I give unto my dear and loving wife Mary Mann for her own peculiar use and Benefit one Moiety or half part of my Household Goods plate Linen and Furniture situate in my now Dwelling house in Wymondham aforesaid

And also I give devise and bequeath All my Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments and Real Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and also all my Household and other Goods (except the half part of my said Household Goods and Furniture bequeathed to my said wife) Stock Cattles Chattels Ready Money Securities for Money and all other my personal Estate of whatsoever nature or kind the same may be and likewise my Tenant right to the Farm and Lands I now occupy in Wymondham aforesaid unto my two Friends Thomas Clayton of Goadby Marwood in the said County of Leicester and George Mann of Hickling in the County of Nottingham Graziers their Assigns Upon trust nevertheless to receive the Rents of my said real Estate and to take upon themselves the Management of my said Farm and personal Estate and pay such Rents as well as the profits and proceed of my said farm and personal Estate or such part thereof as my said Trustees shall think proper unto my said wife Mary Mann for the Maintenance and support of herself and Family until such time as my eldest son William Mann shall have attained his age of Twenty one years and in case of his Decease before he attains his said age of Twenty one years then until my second Son John Mann shall have attained his age of Twenty one years and in case of his Decease before he attains his age of Twenty one years then until my third son George Mann shall have attained his age of Twenty one years Provided she so long continues my widow and not otherwise

And when and so soon as my said Son William Mann shall have attained his said age of Twenty one years I give devise and bequeath all my said Estate as well real as personal and all Benefit thereof (except only one half of my Household Goods and Furniture) unto my said Son William Mann his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever Subject and chargeable as hereinafter mentioned

And in case of his Decease before he attains his said age of twenty one years Then I give and devise all my said real and personal Estate and premises (except as aforesaid) and all Benefit therefrom unto my said second Son John Mann his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever immediately upon his attaining his said age of Twenty one years But subject nevertheless and chargeable as hereinafter mentioned

And in case of his Decease before he attains his said age of Twenty one years Then I give and devise all my said real and personal Estate and premises (except as aforesaid) and all Benefit thereof unto my said Son George Mann his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever immediately upon his attaining his said age of Twenty one years But subject nevertheless and chargeable as hereinafter mentioned

And when and so soon as my said son William Mann shall have attained his said age of Twenty one years or in case of his Decease under that Age then when and so soon as my said son John Mann shall attain to his said age of Twenty one years or in case of his decease under such age then when and so soon as my said Son George Mann shall attain  to his said age of Twenty one years or in case of their Several deceases under such age I give devise and bequeath unto my said wife Mary Mann and her Assigns for and during the then remainder of her natural Life in case she continues my Widow One Annuity or yearly Sum of Twenty pounds of lawful money of Great Britain free and clear of all Taxes and other Outgoing and Deduction whatsoever And I direct the same to be issuing and payable out of all my said real and personal Estate and premises and to be paid in equal portions half yearly And I give unto my said wife Mary Mann and her Assigns such and the same power of enforcing and obtaining payment of the said Annuity or yearly Sum of Twenty pounds by Distress and Sale from time to time as any portion thereof shall be in Arrear and unpaid by the Space of Thirty days next after either of the days whereon the same ought to be paid as aforesaid as Landlords have for enforcing and obtaining payment of Rent in Arrear and my Will is and I do hereby declare that the said Annuity or yearly Sum of Twenty pounds hereinbefore bequeathed to my said wife as aforesaid in case she continues a Widow or the Annuity of Ten pounds which in the Event of her Marriage she will only be entitled to by Virtue of the Proviso hereinafter mentioned is and the same shall be accepted by her in lieu bar and full satisfaction of and for all Dower and Thirds at Common Law or by Custom which she can or may have claim or be entitled to out of in or to all and every or any of the Messuages Lands and Hereditaments whereof I shall die seized or possessed

Provided always nevertheless that in case my said wife shall marry again or shall depart this Life then my Will is and I do hereby expressly declare that my said Trustees shall have the sole Management of my Children during their respective Minorities and that she shall in the Event of her marrying again have and receive only for the then remainder of her natural Life One Annuity or yearly Sum of Ten pounds in lieu of the said Annuity of Twenty pounds above bequeathed to her and which shall be paid half yearly and chargeable as aforesaid

I give and bequeath unto my said Son John Mann the sum of Three hundred pounds to be paid him when he shall attain his age of Twenty one years and I do hereby charge my real and personal Estate with the true payment thereof as well as with his Maintenance and Support until he shall attain such age

I give and bequeath unto my said Son George Mann the sum of Three hundred pounds to be paid him when he shall attain his age of Twenty one years and I do hereby charge my real and personal Estate with the true payment thereof as well as with his Maintenance and Support and until he shall attain such Age

And in case my said wife Mary Mann shall be ensient of a Son at my Decease I give and bequeath unto such Son the like sum of Three hundred pounds which I will shall be paid him when he attains his age of Twenty one years And I likewise charge my real and personal Estate with the true payment thereof as well as with his Maintenance and Support until he attains such age

And in case my said wife shall be ensient at my Decease of a Daughter I give and bequeath unto such Daughter the sum of One hundred and Fifty pounds to be paid her when she attains to the age of Twenty one years And I also charge my real and personal Estate with the payment thereof as well as with her Maintenance and Support until she attains such age

I do will and declare that it shall and may be lawful for my said Trustees and each of them their and each of their Executors and Administrators in the first place by and out of the Premises respectively to deduct and reimburse himself and themselves respectively all such Loss Costs Charges and Expences as he they or any of them shall sustain expend or be put unto for or by reason of the performance of this my Will or the Trusts hereby in them reposed attending the Management and Execution thereof

And Lastly I do hereby appoint my said two Friends Thomas Clayton and George Mann joint Executors In Trust of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made

In Witness whereof I the said William Mann the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament written on three Sheets of Paper set my hand and Seal in manner following (viz) to the two first sheets my hand and to this the last my hand and Seal this Twenty fourth day of May One thousand eight hundred and one.

Let probat be granted to Thomas Clayton & George Mann joint Executors of the within written will they being sworn to the due execution thereof & made oath that the whole personal estate of the deceased at time of his death did not amount to one Thousand pounds
