This is the Last Will and Testament of me William Mann of Nether Broughton in the County of Leicester Baker

First I desire to be buried decently at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter named And as for my Worldly Estate which hath Pleased God to bless me with I Give and Dispose of the same as follows

In the first Place I give and Devise all that my Messuage or Tenement with the Bakehouse Yard and Appurtenances thereunto belonging Situate Standing and being in Nether Broughton aforesaid wherein I do now Inhabit and Dwell And also all that new Inclosed Piece or Parcel of Land with the Appurtenances lying and being within the Manor or Lordship of Nether Broughton aforesaid near the Windmill there Containing by Statute Measure Seven Acres or thereabout (be the same more or less) and now in my own occupation unto my Dear and Loving Wife Elizabeth Mann for and during the Term of her natural Life or for so long time as she shall continue my Widow and from and Immediately after her Decease or her Intermarriage with any Person whomsoever or in either of these Cases then I Give and Devise the said Messuage Land and Hereditaments unto my only Son John Mann his Heirs and Assigns for ever

And also I Give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth Brett Wife of John Brett or Upper Broughton Gentleman the sum of Two Hundred Pounds to be Paid her by my Executor hereinafter named within Twelve Months next after the Decease of my said Wife Elizabeth Mann or her Intermarriage as aforesaid And my Mind and Will is that the said Sum of Two Hundred Pounds so by me given to my said Daughter Elizabeth Brett shall Immediately after her Decease go and be Paid to and among all and every of her child or children share and share alike

Also I Give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Sarah Wilmot Wife of William Wilmot Gentleman the Sum of One Hundred Pounds to be Paid her by my Executor hereinafter named within Twelve Months next after the Decease of my said Wife Elizabeth Mann or her Intermarriage as aforesaid And my Mind and Will further is that the said Sum of one Hundred Pounds so by me given to my said Daughter Sarah Wilmot shall Immediately after her Decease go and be Paid to and among all and every of her Child or Children share and Share alike

And Lastly all and Singular the Rest and Residue of my Household Goods Shop Goods other Goods Stock Chattels Rights Credits and Personal Estate of what kind nature or Quality soever I Give and Bequeath the same and every Part thereof unto my Dear and Loving Wife Elizabeth Mann for and During the Term of her Natural Life or for so long time as she shall Continue my Widow and from and Immediately after her Decease or Intermarriage as aforesaid (my Debts Legacys and funeral Expences being first Paid and Discharged) unto my said Son John Mann his Heirs and assigns for ever

And I do hereby Nominate and appoint my said Son John Mann full and Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament revoking all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made

In Witness whereof I the said William Mann the Testator have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Twenty Sixth day of February in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Nine

Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the said William Mann the Testator to be his last Will and Testament in the Presence of us the witnesses who have at his request and in his Presence and in the Presence of each other set our names as Witnesses to the due Execution of this his said Will The Several Interlineations were done before the Execution hereof
