In the Name of God Amen I George Mann of Nether Broughton Lodge in the County of Leicester Frame Work knitter being of Sound Mind Memory and Understanding praised be Almighty God for the same and Considering the Uncertainty of this Life and the Certainty of Death Do Make and Ordain this my last Will and Testament in Manner and Form following that is to Say

In the first place I Resign my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God my Creator who Give it me and my Body I Committ to the Earth to be decently Buried at the Discretion of my Executrix herein after Named and as for such Temporal Estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow upon me I Give Devise and Bequeath the same as follows that is to say

In the first place I Give and Devise All that Messuage or Tenement and Homestead with their and every of their Appurtenances Situate Standing lying and being in Nether Broughton aforesaid unto my dear and loving Wife Elizabeth Mann for and during the Term of her Natural Life and From and after her Decease then I Give and Devise the said Messuage or Tenement and Homestead unto my Daughter Ann Read her Heirs and Assigns forever

Also I Give and Devise One Undivided Moiety or Equal half part of All that Close of Arable Meadow or pasture Ground with the Appurtenances lying and being in the Great Grange Close of Nether Broughton aforesaid unto my said Wife Elizabeth Mann for and during the Term of her Natural Life and from and after her Decease then I Give and Devise the same Unto my Daughter Elizabeth Hill her Heirs and Assigns for ever

Also I Give and Devise All that other Undivided Moiety or Equal half part of the said Close of Arable Meadow or pasture Ground with the Appurtenances lying and being in the said Great Grange Close in Nether Broughton aforesaid unto my said Wife Elizabeth Mann for and during the Term of her Natural Life and from and after her Decease then I Give and Devise the same unto my Daughter Mary Mann her Heirs and Assigns for ever

Also I Give and Bequeath unto my dear and Loving Wife Elizabeth Mann the Sum of forty pounds Interest Nevertheless that She the said Elizabeth Mann do and shall as soon as conveniently may be after my Decease place the same out at Interest and the Interest and produce thereof pay and apply the same towards the Maintenance and Education of my said Daughter Mary Mann Until She shall attain her Age of Twenty One Years and When and as soon as she shall have attained her said Age of Twenty One Years then I Give and Bequeath the same unto her may said Daughter Mary Mann her Executors or Administrators

Also All my Goods Chattles Cattle and personal Estate or what Nature or Kind soever the same is my Debts Legacys and funeral Expences being first thereout paid and Discharged I Give and Bequeath unto my said Dear and Loving Wife Elizabeth Mann Whom I do hereby appoint full and Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby Revoking all former Wills and Testaments by me at any time heretofore made declaring this to be my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said George Mann the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament Containing two Sheets of paper Sett my Hand and Seal to each Sheet this Thirteenth Day of August in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Seventy One

Signed Sealed published and Declared by the said George Mann the Testator for and as his last Will and Testament in the presence of Us Who have Subscribed our Names As Witnesses hereto in his presence and at his Request
