Charles Loe of Nether Broughton 1729 Will and Inventory

In the name of god Amen I Charles Loe of Neather Broughton in the County of Leicester Weaver being aged and weak in body but in perfect Memory considering the Uncertainty of Life and the certainty of Death Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say)

Imprimis I resign my Soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it me and my Body I comit to the Grave to be Decently buried at the Discretion of my Executor herein after named and as for my Temporal estate which it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow upon me I Give devise and bequeath as followeth

Imprimis I give unto my Grandchild Charles Loe Ten pounds

Item I give unto my Grand-Son Henry Loe Ten pounds

Item I give unto my Grand-Daughter Sarah Loe Ten pounds

Item I give unto my Grandson John Loe Ten pounds with Intrest to put him out apprentice

Item I give unto my Grandson Thomas Loe Ten pounds with Intrest to put him out apprentice

Item I give unto my Daughter in Law Elizabeth Loe one shillings

Item I give unto my Daughter in Law Jane Loe one shillings

All which said Sumes I give to be paid by my Executor hereafter named when the Children above named shall come to the age of Twenty one years

Item all the rest of Goods Houses Lands Cattle Chattles and personal estate whatsoever my Debts Legaices and funeral expences being first paid and Discharged I give unto my Son Charles Loe whom I hereby Nominate and appoint full and Sole Executor of this my last will and Testament

In Wittness whereof I the said Charles Loe The Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal this Twenty eight Day of October Anno Dom 1729
