This is the Last Will and Testament of me John Lock of Scalford in the county of Leicester lace Agent

I give and bequeath all my household furniture, china, books, silver and plated goods, my Jubilee presents, and everything in the house and everything on the premises of my residence whatsoever and wheresoever to my daughter Rebecca Lock, and I further give the sum of Ten Pounds to the said Rebecca as an acknowledgement to her for the extra expense and trouble to which she may be put on account of my decease and interment, and I further give & bequeath to my two friends Mr Henry Marriott of Scalford in the County of Leicester farmer, and Mr Matthew Chadburn of the borough and county of Nottingham lace Manufacturer, herein after described as Trustees the sum of Five Pounds each as a consideration of their trouble & expences in connection with this my will, and I further give and bequeath all the residue of my money, the securities for money, and all my other real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever of which I may die possessed to the said Trustees in Trust for the following purposes, that is to say

The Payment of all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses and I direct the said Trustees to dispose of any property I may not have previously disposed of and to realise the whole of my estate and when realised to divide the Whole between my two sons Thomas Lock of Melton Mowbray in the county of Leicester, and Abel Lock of Unston in the county of Derby and my two daughters Rebecca Lock of Scalford aforesaid and Mary Winnall of Brassington in the county of Derby Equally Share and Share alike

And I hereby appoint the said Henry Marriott and the said Matthew Chadburn to be the executors of this my last will, and I hereby revoke all former wills or will that I have at any time made, and I declare this to be my last will and testament
