In the Name of God Amen I Sarah Littlewood the Wife of Robert Littlewood Late of Long Clawson in the County of Leicester Officer in the Excise being in Good health of Body and of Sound and perfect Mind Memory and Understanding Do make and ordain this My last Will and Testament in Manner and form following

Whereas by Indenture of Settlement bearing date on or about the Seventeenth day of November in the year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and forty seven and made between My said husband and me by the names of Robert Littlewood of Long Clawson in the County of Leicester Gentleman and Sarah his Wife of the first part William Hackett of Wykeham in the parish of Cawdwell in the said County of Leicester Gentleman of the Second part and John Brett of Upper Broughton in the County of Nottingham Gentleman of the third part the said Robert Littlewood and Sarah his wife for the Considerations therein Menconed Did Grant bargain Sell Alien release assure and Confirm unto the said William Hackett (in his actual possession) and to his heirs and assignes All that Messuage or Tenement with the Yard and Garden thereunto belonging with the appurts Scituate Standing and being in Hungerton in the said County of Leicester thentofore in the Tenure of John Toone and then or then late in the Tenure of [blank] and also all that other Messuage or Tenement and all other the buildings and Edifices with their appurts Scituate and being in Hungerton aforesaid thentofore in the Tenure of Godhathard Clark but then or then Late in the Tenure of Jonathan Hill and also all that half yard Land of arrable meadow and pasture with the appurts Lying and being in the fields Libertyes Boundaries and precincts of Hungerton aforesaid then late in the Tenure of occupation of Widow Jones and all other the Messuages Cottages Lands and premises whatsoever of him the said Robert Littlewood and Sarah his wife in Hungerton aforesaid Together with all and Singular the premises with the appurts thereto incident and belonging To hold the same unto the said William Hackett his heirs and assignes To the uses following (that is to say) To the use of the said Robert Littlewood for Life and after his Decease To the use of Sarah his Wife for Life and after her decease To the use of the said John Brett for five hundred years and from and after the Expiration of the said Terme Then to the use of the heirs of the body of the Said Robert Littlewood on the body of the said Sarah his wife Lawfully begotten or to be begotten and for want of such issue Then to Such uses intents and purposes and under and Subject to such provisions and Agreements as the said Sarah the Wife of the said Robert Littlewood should at any time then after notwithstanding her Coverture by her Last Will and Testament in Writing duely Executed in the presence of three of More Credible Witnesses Limitt direct and appoint

And Whereas in and by one other Indenture bearing date the Seventh day of June which was in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and Forty Eight and made Between the said Robert Littlewood of the one part and Jonathan Hill of Hungerton aforesaid Grazier & Weaver of the other part reciting that divers Differences and disputes had then Arose between the said Robert Littlewood and Sarah his wife and by their mutual assent and Agreement were then Separated and put a sunder from Bed and Board and for other Certain reasons therein Set forth It is Witnessed that for the Considerations therein Menconed the said Robert Littlewood Did Grant bargain and Sell unto the Said Jonathan Hill his Executors and administrators all and Singular the Household Goods and other Goods Cattle and Chattells then Standing and being in the then Dwelling house and the yard Barnes and Stables thereto belonging of the said Sarah the wife of the Said Robert Littlewood and which are more particularly menconed and Expressed in a Certain Terrar or Schedule to the now reciting Indenture Annext and all the Estate right Title Interest property claime and Demand whatsoever of the said Robert Littlewood of in and unto the same To hold the Same unto the said Jonathan Hill his Executors and Administrators In Trust and to and for the use and behoofe of the Said Sarah the wife of the Said Robert Littlewood for and during the Terme of her Natural Life and after her decease Then to such uses intents and purposes as the said Sarah the wife of the said Robert Littlewood should at any time then after notwithstanding her Coverture by her last Will and Testament in writing duly Executed in the presence of two or more Credible Witnesses Limitt direct or appoint and for want of Such Direction Limittacon and appointment as aforesaid Then to the use and behoofe of the said Robert Littlewood his Executors and Administrators for Ever as in and by the said Severall recited Indentures reference being thereunto had may More fully and at large appear

Therefore I the Said Sarah the wife of the Said Robert Littlewood in pursuance of the powers to me Given in and by virtue of the Said first recited Indenture Do Hereby Give and Devise unto my Nephew Robert Pullin the Son of my Brother Robert Pullin all the aforesaid Messuages Cottages Lands Hereditaments and all and Singular other the premises in the said first recited Indenture Menconed with their and Every of their appurts And all other the Messuages Lands Tenements and Hereditts whatsoever or wheresoever whereof or wherein I have any Estate or Inheritance To have and to hold the said Messuages Cottages Lands & premises unto my said nephew Robert Pullin his heirs and assigns for Ever and to and for none other intent or purpose whatsoever

I also (in pursuance of the powers to me Given in and by the said last recited Indenture) Do hereby Give and bequeath unto my said Nephew Robert Pullin All and Every my Household Goods and other Goods Cattle Chattells and personall Estate whatsoever & wheresoever and I do hereby make and appoint my said Nephew Robert Pullin Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revokeing all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made

In Witness whereof I have to his My last Will and Testament Contained in three Sheets of paper to the two first of Which I have Set my hand and to the Last My hand and Seal this fifth day of May in the Twenty Second year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth and in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and forty nine
