In the name of god Amen The last daie of Januarie in the yeere of our Lord god one thousand five hundred thirtie and foure

I William Lee of Stathorne in the Countie of Leicester Carpenter weake in bodie but of good and perfect memorie (thankes bee to Almightie god therefore) doe make & ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and forme following

Imprimis I give and bequeathe my soule into the hands of Almightie god my Creator trusting to be saved onely by the merritts of Christ Jesus and my Bodie to bee buried in the Church yeard of Stathorn aforesaide

Item I give and bequeathe unto my sone John Lee tenne shillings of currant English money to bee payde unto him within halfe a yeare after my decease in full satisfaction of his Childs portion

Item I give and bequeathe unto my Sister in law & her three children Dwelling at Grantham everie one of them twelve pence

Item I give and bequeathe unto my grandchild William Lee twentie shillings to bee paide unto him when hee cometh out of his apprentishipp
