In the name of god Amen I John Lee of Claxton Als Long Clawson in the county of Leicester weaver being sicke & weake in body but of sound & perfect mind and memory doe make and ordain this my last will & Testament in Manner following

Impris I commend my soul into the hands of Allmighty God my Creator & my body to the Earth from whence it was taken to be decently interrd at the discretion of my Executrix hereinafter named hoping through the only Merrits & Mediation of my blessed Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ for a Joyfull resurrection to life Eternal

Allsoe I Give & Devise All that my halfe Oxgange of Land of arable meadow and pasture ground with the Apptences lying & being dispersedly within the several fields & liberties of the west End of the town of Claxton Als Long Clawson aforesd (after the decease of my Mother Judeth Lee) unto my onely son William Lee and to his heirs & assigns for ever provided allwaies & upon Condicon that my sd son doe and shall well & truly pay or cause to be paid unto my only daughter Mary the sume of Twenty pounds of good & lawfull Money of Great Britain as soon as she shall attain her Age of four & Twenty years in case my sd Mother shall then happen to be deceased or Else at the Expiration of one whole year next after my said Mother’s decease

Allsoe I Give & bequeath All my household Goods Looms & Tools belonging to my Trade And All my Quickstock rights Creddits & personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever the same shall or may be found unto my loving wife Anne for the bringing up of my Children and for the payment of all my Just Debts & funeral Expences whatsoever

And Lastly I doe hereby make ordain Constitute & appoint my sd Wife Anne Sole Executrix of this my last Will & Testament hereby revokeing all former Wills & Testaments whatsoever by me at any time heretofore made

In Witness whereof I the sd John Lee have to this my last Will & Testament set my hand & seal the Eighth day of August in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seaven hundred & Eighteen
