This is the last Will and Testament of me Henry Lamin the Elder of Hose in the County of Leicester Farmer and Grazier

I direct all my just debts funeral and Testamentary Expences to be fully paid

I Give and Devise All that messuage or Tenement in which I now dwell situate in Hose aforesaid Unto my affectionate Wife Esther Lamin and her assigns for and during such part of her natural life as she shall continue my widow as a home for herself and youngest Son and daughters And from and after the death or marriage of my said Wife Then I Give and Devise the said messuage or Tenement and hereditaments Unto my Son Henry Lamin his heirs and assigns for ever

I Give and Devise all other my messuages Lands Tenements and hereditaments situate at Hose aforesaid in my own possession with the Rights members and appurtenances thereto belonging Unto my said Wife Esther Lamin and her assigns during such part also of her natural life as she shall continue my Widow And Unto my said Son Henry Lamin for their joint and mutual benefit during such my said Wife’s Widowhood And after her death or marriage Then I Give and Devise All my said Messuages Lands Tenements and hereditaments in Hose aforesaid Unto my said Son Henry Lamin his heirs and assigns

I Give and Devise unto my Two friends Thomas Lamin of Harby in the said County Miller and William Stokes of Willoughby in the County of Nottingham Grazier All those three Closes or Grounds inclosed lands and hereditaments situate at Harby in the said County of Leicester in my own occupation containing upwards of Twenty one Acres Upon Trust to permit my said Wife and Son to have the Rents and profits thereof Until my son William Thomas Lamin comes to the Age of Twenty one years And when he attains such Age Then I Give and Devise my said Estate in Harby aforesaid Unto my said Son William Thomas Lamin his heirs and assigns for ever Subject nevertheless and chargeable with the Repayment of the Sum of Four hundred pounds which I have borrowed thereon on Security

I Give Unto my two daughters Mary Lamin and Jane Ann Lamin the Sum of Two hundred pounds apiece to be paid to them within twelve months after my decease by my Executors

I Give and bequeath all my Farming Stock Implements monies Securities for money and all other the Remainder of my Personal Estate and Effects not before disposed of Unto my said Wife and Son Henry Lamin Share and Share alike if she continues my Widow But if she marries again Then and immediately thereupon I Give the same to my Said Son Henry Lamin for his own use absolutely subject to the said legacies

And I do hereby appoint my said two friends Thomas Lamin and William Stokes Joint Executors In Trust of this my last Will and Testament hereby Revoking all former Wills by me made

In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and Seal this fourth day of June 1841

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Henry Lamin the Elder as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have at his Request in his presence and in the presence of each other set our hands as witnesses to the due Execution thereof

Thomas Lamin of Harby in the County of Leicester, Miller and William Stokes of Nether Broughton in the County of Leicester & late of Willoughby on the Wolds in the County of Nottingham Grazier, the joint executors in this will named were duly sworn to the truth & faithful performance thereof as usual & that the goods chattels & credits of the deceased without deducting any debts owing by him therefrom do not amount in value to the sum of three hundred & fifty pounds (£350) and that the deceased died on the sixth day of May last past
