This is the last Will and Testament of me William Thomas Kirk of Scalford in the County of Leicester Farmer

I devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever situate (except what is hereinafter disposed of by this Will) to my Wife Elizabeth Kirk absolutely and I appoint Robert Cecil Cooper of Waltham-on-the-Wolds in the County of Leicester Farmer and George Samuel Wells of Abb Kettleby in the said County of Leicester Farmer to be the Executors and Trustees of This my Will and I bequeath to each of them the said Robert Cecil Cooper and George Samuel Wells the sum of Ten pounds

In Witness whereof I the said William Thomas Kirk have hereunto set my hand this twenty sixth day of January One thousand eight hundred and ninety seven

This is a Codicil to the last Will and Testament of me William Thomas Kirk of Scalford in the County of Leicester Farmer which Will bears date the twenty sixth day of January one thousand eight hundred and ninety seven

Whereas by my said Will I have appointed George Samuel Wells to be one of the Executors and Trustees thereof And whereas the said George Samuel Wells has recently died Now I hereby appoint my two sons John William Kirk and Matthew George Kirk to be Executors and Trustees of my said Will in the place of the said George Samuel Wells

And I declare that my said Will shall be construed and take effect as if the names of the said John William Kirk and Matthew George Kirk were inserted in my said Will throughout instead of the name of the said George Samuel Wells and in all other respects I confirm my said Will

In Witness whereof I the said William Thomas Kirk have hereunto set my hand this fourteenth day of April one thousand nine hundred and eight
