In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Key of Plungar in the County of Leicester Farmer being in perfect health And of Sound Mind Memory and Understanding and Considering the Uncertainty of this life Doe make and Ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to Say)

First of all I give my Soul to God that gave it me And my Body I Commit to the Earth to be decently interred att the discretion of my Executrix hereinafter named And as for my worldly Estate which hath pleased God to bless me with I give and dispose thereof as follows

In the first place I give and Devise All that Messuage or Tenement with the Appurtenances scituate standing and being in Barkston in the said County of Leicester And now in the Tenure or Occupation of Thomas Read his Asignee or Assignes And which I late purchased of one Abraham Rowell unto my Sister Elizabeth Camm for and during the Term of her natural life And from and immediately after her Decease then I give and Devise the aforesaid Messuage or Tenement and premises unto my Daughter Elizabeth Key and her heirs and Assignes for ever

And Also I give and bequeath unto my Said Sister Elizabeth Camm not only the free use and occupation of the Moiety or full half part of all and Singular my Household Goods, But Also the free choise of one good Milch’d Cow out of all Milch’d Cowes for and during the Term of her Natural life And from and immediately after her decease then I give and bequeath Same Moiety or full half part of my Said Household Goods and one milch’d Cow unto my said Daughter Elizabeth Key But my Mind and Will is That in case Elizabeth Key Shall Die and depart this life before my Said Sister Elizabeth Camm That then and in Such Case It Shall and may be lawfull unto and for my Said Sister Elizabeth Camm to retain and keep the same Moiety or full half part of my Said Household Goods and one Milch’d Cow for her own proper use and benefit And shall and may dispose of the Same in such manner and She Shall think proper

And Lastly all the rest residue and remainder of my Household Goods and other Goods Stock Cattle Chattells rights Credits and personal Estate of What kind or Nature soever (my Debts and Funeral Expenses being first paid and discharged) I give and bequeath unto my said Daughter Elizabeth Key Whom I doe hereby Appoint full and Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament Revoking all former and other Wills by me att any time heretofore made

In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Key the Testator Have hereunto set my hand and seale this Eight and Twentieth day of October in the Year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty five
