In the name of God Amen I William Julian of Claxton otherwise Long Clawson in the County of Leicester Weaver being in health in Body & of Sound and disposeing mind memory & understanding praised be Almighty God for the Same do make & Ordaine this my last will & Testament in manner & forme following, That is to say

First I give devise & bequeath All my Lands tenements & hereditaments whatsoever with their & every of their Appurts Scituate Lying being with [sic] the Lordship of Hose in the said County of Leicester unto my son Robert Julian his heirs & assignes for ever

Item I give devise & bequeath All that my Messuage Cottage or tenement with the Appurts Scituate Standing & being in Claxton otherwise Long Clawson aforesaid which I purchased to me & my heirs of & from John Brealey unto my dear & loving wife for & during the term of her naturall life And from & after her decease unto my daughter Mary the wife of William Clay for & during the term of her naturall life and from and after her decease I give & devise the same unto my Grandson William Clay (Son of my said daughter Mary Clay) and his heirs for ever

Item I give devise & bequeath All that my Close of meadow or pasture ground Scituate lying & being in the Liberties of Claxton otherwise Long Clawson aforesaid with the Appurtenances unto my said wife during her naturall life and from and after her decease I give & devise the same unto my son William Julian his heirs & assignes for ever Subject nevertheless to the payment of Five pounds unto my said Grandson William Clay within twelve months next after my said wife’s decease and if he shall to be then dead to be paid to his Eldest brother then living & if no brother to his Eldest Sister and if no Sister then I will the said Five pounds shall cease & not be paid

Also I give devise & bequeath All that my Fourteenth part or share of & in all that Windmill with the Land wherein it standeth & all the Hades & balkes thereunto belonging Scituate Standing & being in the Fields of Claxton otherwise Long Clawson aforesaid called the West Mill Unto my said son William Julian & his heirs

Item I give and bequeath Unto my said Son Robert Julian All my Goods Chattles Cattle Credits and personall Estate not hereinbefore by me disposed of he paying thereout all my just debts & funerall Expences and I do hereby nominate and Appoint him full & Sole Executor of this my last Will & Testament hereby revokeing all former Wills by me heretofore made declaring this to be my last will & Testament

In witness whereof I the said William Julian the Testator have to this my last will & Testament put my hand & Seal this Sixteenth day of March One thousand Seven hundred and Fifty Six
