In the Name of God Amen the first day of January in the yere of our Lord God one thousand sixe hundred fiftie and sixe I Elizabeth Julian of Hose in the County of Leicester widdow being weake in body but of good and perfect memory (praised by allmighty god) doe make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following (that is to say)

First I give and bequeath my soule into the hands of Allmighty god hopeing assuredly through the onely merritts of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redeemer to be made partaker of life everlasting, and as for my body I Comend to the earth whereof it was made to be buried in a Decent manner in the Church of Hose aforesaid at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named

And as for my worldly goods and chattles which it hath pleased allmighty god to Lend mee I give and bequeath as hereafter followeth (that is to say)

First I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Anne Marriott widdow twelve pence

Itm I give and bequeath unto my Sonne and Daughter Henry Speedy & his wife twelve pence

Allsoe I give and bequeath unto my Sonne & Daughter George Wray & his wife twelve pence

Allsoe I give and bequeath unto my Sonne Robert Julian twelve pence

Allsoe I give and bequeath unto William Peate and Mary Peight (Sonne and Daughter of Anthony Peight late of Hose aforesaid deceased) to each of them five pounds of lawfull money of England and my will and mind is that the said five pounds a peice shallbe paid into the hands of my granchild James Julian to be by him putt out for theire best advantage untill they shall accomplish theire Severall ages of one and twenty yeares, and if it happen either of them to depart this life before they attaine unto theire severall ages of twenty & one yeres That then the porcon of him or her soe dyeing shallbe paid unto the Survivor of them when they shall attaine unto the age of one and twenty yeres

Allsoe I give and bequeath unto Joane Julian my Granchild one yearling black heckfer

Allsoe whereas my Sonne Richard Brookesby doth owe unto me about Tenne pounds of lawfull money of England for Corne and other thinge I doe give and bequeath the Same unto him and my Daughter Mary his wife

And my will and mind is that the before menconed Legacies of twelve pence anpiece and the two Legacies of five pounds a piece shallbe paid as aforesaid by my Executor hereafter named within sixe moneths next after my decease

All the rest of my goods chattles and Cattles whatsoever unbequeathed my Debts Legacies and funerall expences being first paid and discharged I give and bequeath unto my Loveing Sonne Gregory Julian of Hose aforesaid whom I doe make and ordaine my full & Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament revoakeing all former Wills and Testaments whatsoever hereuntofore by mee made

In wittnes whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale the day and yeare above Saide
