John George heretofore of Stathern but late of Waltham on the Woulds
This is the last Will and Testament of me George Johnson of Stathern in the county of Leicester Yeoman
First I direct my Debts Funeral and testamentary expences be fully paid
I Give (subject thereto) All my Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever unto my friends John Rodgers of Eaton and Thomas Shipman of Stathern both in the county of Leicester Graziers their Executors Administrators and Assigns Upon trust nevertheless to place out the same to the best advantage for the benefit of my two Children George Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson and for their maintenance education and support during their minority and until they severally attain their several ages of twenty one years And then upon trust that they the said John Rodgers and Thomas Shipman and the Survivor of them his Executors Administrators and assigns shall assign the said Personalty in manner following that is to say
The sum of One hundred pounds and also One Bed and bed furniture in my Chamber and one Chest of Drawers standing in the Parlour (belonging to my late Wife) and half a dozen of my best tea spoons unto my said Daughter Elizabeth Johnson upon her attaining her said age of twenty one years
And the remainder of the said Personalty unto my said son George Johnson upon attaining his age of twenty one years
Provided that my said two friends shall not be accountable for more money than they shall actually receive nor the one for the other of them but each for his own acts receipts and defaults only
And I do appoint them joint Executors In Trust of this my last Will and testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Twenty fourth day of February One thousand eight hundred and twenty six

Whereas I the above named George Johnson have duly made and published My last Will and Testament in writing bearing date the 24th of February 1826 Now I do hereby declared this to be a Codicil thereto and direct the same to be taken as part thereof
And whereas I have in my said Will given amongst other things a legacy of one hundred pounds to my daughter Elizabeth Now I do hereby revoke the said Legacy and Give to her in lieu thereof the Sum of Sixty pounds only and confirm my said will in every other particular thereof
In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and Seal this 29th day of March 1831

Let a Probate be made to John Rodgers of Eaton in the County of Leicester Farmer and Grazier one of the Executors named in the will of the deceased with power of making the like Grant to Thomas Shipman of Stathern in the said county Farmer and Grazier the other Executor named in the said Will when he shall apply for the same
He the said John Rodgers having been duly sworn as well to the faithful Execution of the Will as that the testators Goods Chattels and Credits without deducting any debts owning by the deceased therefrom did not amount in value to the Sum of Two hundred Pounds
