This is the last Will and Testament of me Philip Janes of Nether Broughton in the County of Leicester Platelayer

I Revoke all Wills and Testamentary dispositions by me heretofore made

I appoint my friends Samuel Sheldon Black of Old Dalby in the said County of Leicester Ironstone Labourer and Thomas Black of Old Dalby aforesaid Grazier to be the Trustees and Executors of this my Will and I give to each of them for so acting the sum of One pound

I devise all my real estate to my Daughter Florence Esther French subject to her permitting my wife Mary Janes to reside in my House free of charge during the term of her life

I admit that the following goods in and about my said house belong to my said Daughter Florence Esther French:- Dining Room Table China Tea Pot and Sugar Basin and Three quarter Bedstead

I bequeath all my wearing apparel and my big watch to my said Daughters husband Joseph French of Ilkestone

I bequeath my small watch to my said Daughter Florence Esther French

I bequeath all the remainder of my household goods Furniture linen and Consumable stores to my said wife Mary Janes

I bequeath the residue and remainder of my personal estate to be applied Firstly in the payment of my Funeral and Testamentary Expenses and debts and subject thereto to be equally divided between my said wife Mary Janes and my said Daughter Florence Esther French

In Witness whereof I the Testator the said Philip Janes have hereunto set my hand this Twenty second day of June One thousand nine Hundred and twenty one
