James Huckerby of Hose 1822 Will

I James Huckerby of Hose in the County of Leicester Builder do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following

I give and devise to my Dear wife Elizabeth Huckerby all my freehold Estate Situate and being at Hose in the County of Leicester And Also my Estate situate and being at Clawson in the County of Leicester And Also All my Goods Chattles Money securities for money and all my other effects for and during her Natural life And at the Decease of my Dear Wife Elizabeth Huckerby the Aforesaid estates to my Three sons in the following manner that is to say

First to my son Thomas Huckerby I Give all my freehold Estate situate and being at Hose in the County of Leicester to him and his heirs and assigns for ever paying thereout five Pounds each to my Two sons James Huckerby and Francis Huckerby

I Give to my son James Huckerby a Messuage or tenement situate and being at Clawson in the County of Leicester now in the tenure of John Pickard

I Give to my son Francis Huckerby a Messuage or tenement situate and being in Clawson in the County of Leicester and now in the tenure of [blank] Brown

The land to be equally divided to them and their heirs and assigns for ever

And lastly I hereby appoint my said Dear wife Elizabeth Huckerby sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all or any former Wills by me heretofore made

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Fourteenth day of January 1822

Let a probat be granted to Elizabeth Huckerby of Hose in the County of Leicester widow, Executrix named in the will of James Huckerby who died at Hose on the seventeenth day of January 1822

She the said Elizabeth Huckerby being duly sworn as well to the faithful execution of the Will as that the Testator’s Goods, Chattels & Credits as they were at his death without deducting debts owing by him therefrom did not amount in value to the sum of two hundred pounds
