This is the last Will and Testament of me Jasper Houghton of Saxleby in the County of Leicester Grazier

I give and bequeath to my Nephew Anthony Houghton the sum of two Hundred Pounds

To my Nephew George Houghton one Hundred Pounds

To my Nephew Hugh Houghton one Hundred Pounds

To my Neice Mary Watchorn one Hundred Pounds

To my Neice Ann Evans on Hundred Pounds

To my Neice Alice Houghton one Hundred Pounds

To my Nephew John Gamble two Hundred Pounds but if he die before the same become due and payable then and in such case I give and bequeath the said sum of two Hundred Pounds to his Son John Gamble

To my Nephew Robert Hollingshead two Hundred Pounds

To my Neice Frances Littler one Hundred Pounds

To my Neice Ann Palmer one Hundred Pounds

To my Neice Mary Staples one Hundred Pounds

To my Female Servant that lives with me at the time of my decease twenty Pounds

I give and bequeath to the Church wardens of Saxleby aforesaid the sum of one Hundred Pounds In Trust nevertheless to be by them put out to Interest upon good and eligible security and the Interest  or proceed thereof apply by them and their Successors for the time being to the Education of poor Children belonging to the said Parish for ever

All the residue of my Goods Chattels and personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath to my Nephew Jasper Houghton whom I also appoint full and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament revoking all former Wills by me made and this only to be my last Will and Testament

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this thirtieth day of August in the year one thousand eight hundred and eight

A Codicil to be added to, and be a part of the last Will and Testament of me, Jasper Houghton of Saxleby in the County of Leicester

Whereas I have in and by my last Will and Testament bearing date the 30th day of August 1808 given and bequeathed to my Nephew George Houghton the sum of one hundred Pounds, and to my Nephew Hugh Houghton the sum of one hundred Pounds Now I do hereby give and bequeath to my said two Nephews the sum of one hundred Pounds apiece more

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand this [blank] day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten

Let a Probate be made to Jasper Houghton of Saxleby in the County of Leicester Grazier the sole Executor named in the will of the deceased who died on the 27 Nov 1818

He having been duly sworn as well to the faithful Execution of the will & Codicil marked (A) as that the testator’s goods chattels and credits as they were at his death without deducting any debts owing by the deceased therefrom did not amount in value to the Sum of Three Thousand Pounds
