This is the last Will and Testament of me William Hopkins of Nether Broughton in the County of Leicester, Grazier

I appoint as my Executors my friend George Simpson, Butcher, of Hickling in the County of Nottingham, and my nephew, George Edward Mitchell of Nether Broughton

After the payment of my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses, the said funeral expenses to include the costs of making and setting up a suitable headstone over my grave, I give and bequeath all my real and personal Estate, ready money, stock and whatsoever I may die possessed of to my nephew George Edward Mitchell of Nether Broughton absolutely

I hereby revoke all further [sic] Wills made by me

The above Will was read over to the Testator, William Hopkins by the undersigned Charles Augustus Hulbert, by whom it was explained to the Testator who seemed to understand the same and he made his mark thereto in the presence of us, who, in his presence, at his request, and in the presence of each other have hereto signed our names as witnesses
