In the name of god Amen The xxiiith day of November in the yeare of our Lord go one thowesande six hundred and five and in the fourth yeare of the Raigne of our Sovereigne lord James by the grace of god kinge of England France & Irelande deffendor of the fayth &c And of Scotland the fortieth I Willm Hoult of Hollwell within the Countie of Lecester Masonne being of whole minde & in good & perfecte remembrance laude & praise be unto almightie god, doe make & ordeine this my last will & testament in manner & forme followeinge, that is to saye
First I Comende my soule unto allmightie god, my maker & redeemer, and my bodie to be buried in the parish church yarde of Abkettlebie in the Countie aforesayde
& I will that all such debts & dueties as I owe of right or in conscience to any person or personnes be well and truly contented & payde without any delay or contradiction
I owe unto Elizabeth Gooddicarrie six pounds six shillings & eight pence
I have oweinge of me Raphe Houlte my brother foure & fortie shillings
And of Willim Gamble thirtie three shillings & foure pence
And of John Wallice thirteene shillings & foure pence
And of John Hoult my brother ten shillings
I give unto my Brother Robt his four children Alice, Nicholas, Marie, & Elizabeth four shillings
Also to my brother John his two children two shillings
Also I give to my brother Raphe his children twentie shillings Whereof I will that my godsonne Raphe to have foure to himself
Also I give to my brother Daye his children two shillings five pence
Also I give unto John Gooddicarrie six shillings eights pence
Also to Elizabeth Gooddicarrie ten shillings
All the reste of my goods I give unto Alice my wife whome I make & ordaine to be my lawfull executor of this my last will & testament
