In the Name of God Amen I Richard Hoe of Hose in the County of Leicester Weaver being weak in Body but of sound mind and memory blessed be God do make and ordain this my last will and Testament in form and manner following

First and Principally I humbly recommend my Soul into the Hand of God who gave it me hoping through the alone Merits of Jesus Christ to obtain a pardon for all my Sins and my Body to be decently Buried and as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I dispose of it as follows

First I give and bequeath to my Nephew Robert Hoe the Sum of Ten Pounds of lawful Money of England

Also I give and bequeath to my Nephew John Beakley the Sum of Five Pounds of like lawful Money

Also I give and bequeath to my Nephew Thomas Beakley the Sum of Five Pounds of like lawful Money

Also I give and bequeath to my Niece Mary Foster the Sum of Five Pounds of like lawful Money

Also I give and bequeath to my Niece Fortune Stockwell the Sum of Five Pounds of like lawful Money

Also I give and bequeath to my Niece Mary Cooke the Sum of Five Pounds of like lawful Money

Also I give and bequeath to my [no statement of relationship] Elizabeth Fawkes the Sum of Five Pounds of like lawful Money

Also I give and bequeath to my Niece Sarah Marriot the Sum of Five Pounds of like lawful Money

Also I give and bequeath to my Nephew John Hawley the Sum of Five Pounds of like lawful Money

Also I give and bequeath to my Niece Elizabeth Wikeham to the Sum of Ten Pounds of like lawful Money and my half dozen Silver Tea Spoons

Also I give and bequeath to my Niece Ann Garrett the Sum of Five Pounds of like lawful Money

Also I give and bequeath to my Niece Elizabeth Gudson the Sum of Five Pounds of like lawful Money

Also I give and bequeath to my Niece Francis Robinson the Sum of Five Pounds of like lawful Money

But my Will and mind is that my said Niece Francis Robinson shall pay to her Mother Elizabeth Huckerby Five Shillings Yearly and every Year out of the said Five Pounds during her said Mothers natural life

Also I give and devise to my Nephew Richard Hoe his Heirs and Assigns for ever all my Real Estate or Allottment of Land or Closes with their Appurtenances lying and being in Claxton otherwise Long Clawson in the said County of Leicester Subject nevertheless with or to the payment of all the Legacies herein by me given and bequeathed

Also I give and bequeath all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Goods Chattels and Personal Estate of what nature or kind soever and wheresoever to my said Nephew Richard Hoe whom I do hereby constitute and appoint Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said Richard Hoe have to this my said last Will and Testament set my hand and Seal this [blank] day of June in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and eighty two

Robert Goodacre This Will was proved at London the twenty Fourth day of January in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and eighty three before the Worshipful Peter Calvert Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oath of Richard Hoe the Nephew of the deceased and Executor named in the said Will to whom Administration was granted of all and Singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased having been first Sworn by Commission duly to Administer
