This is the last Will and Testament of me William Hitherly, Grazier, of Grimstone in the County of Leicester made this Tenth day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and Eighty five

I hereby revoke all wills by me at any time heretofore made

I appoint William Harby, Farmer, Nether Broughton and Herbert Sleath, Joiner, Grimstone to be my Executors and I direct that all my just debts and Funeral and Testamentary Expenses shall be paid as soon as possible after my decease

I hereby give and bequeath unto my Dear Wife the whole of my household furniture, dairy utensils, live and dead stock, and implements of husbandry, together with all monies due to me from any source whatever for her sole benefit and use during the term of her natural life; and at her decease, I direct that there be a sale, and after all expences are paid, the proceeds of such sale to be equally divided into five parts share and share alike as follows

To my Niece Ann Hitherley one part, to my niece Mary Mills, of Hathern one part, to my niece Fanny Mills of Wymeswold one part, to Ada Ann Bruce her mother Maria’s part, and to John Edward Mills his mother Sarah’s part

And I also further direct that the above named executors shall be paid all reasonable charges for all the trouble they take in the execution of this my Will

Proved at Leicester on the nineteenth day of February 1889 by the Oaths of William Harby and Herbert Sleath the Executors to whom Administration was granted

The Testator William Hitherley was late of Grimstone in the County of Leicester Grazier and died on the nineteenth day of December 1888 at Grimstone aforesaid
