Thomas Hill of Nether Broughton 1829 Will

The last Will and Testament of me Thomas Hill of Nether Broughton in the County of Leicester, Farmer and Grazier, is as follows:

I direct the payment of all my just Debts, Funeral and Testamentary Expences as soon as conveniently may be after my decease

I give and bequeath unto Esther the Wife of Benjamin Tuckwood of Old Dalby in the said County of Leicester, Farmer and Grazier, the sum of Twenty Pounds, for her own use and benefit absolutely; to be paid her at the expiration of twelve Months next after my decease

And all the Rest, Residue and Remainder of my Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath unto my Nephew William Urry of the Town of Nottingham, Grocer, his Executors Administrators and Assigns, for his and their own use and benefit absolutely

And I appoint the said William Urry, the sole Executor of this my Will

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this Twenty first day of October in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty

Signed, Sealed, Published and Declared by the said Thomas Hill, the Testator, as and for his last Will and Testament, in the presence of us, who in his presence, at his request, and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our Names as Witnesses thereto

Let a probat be granted to William Urry of Nether Broughton Farmer & Grazier sole Executor named in the Will of Thos Hill who died at Nether Broughton in August last 1828

He the said William Urry being duly sworn as well to the faithful Execution of the Will, as that the Testator’s Goods, Chattels & Credits as they were at his death, without deducting any Debts owing by him therefrom, did not amount in value to the sum of one hundred pounds
