Robert Hickling of Long Clawson 1724 Will

In the Name of God Amen I Robert Hickling of Clauson in the County of Leicester Gent being mind full of my mortality do make this my last will as followes

Imp: I ratifie and confirme any Settlement or Joynture which I have made hither upon my Sons marriage or otherwayes

Item I give and devise unto my son Robert Hickling during the Terme of his Natural life all that messuage with the appurtenances and three oxganges of Land scituate & Lying in the Town and Fields of Hose in the sd County of Leicester now in the Tenure of Joseph Wells or his undertenants also all that one oxgange of Lands in Hose Fields aforesd in the Tenures of William Garrot & widow White and also all that Close in Hose called …an Close in possession of Richard Orston and also I give the Reversion and Inheritance of all & singular the sd messuage Oxganges of Land and Close unto such of the Children of my sd Son as he by any deed or writing under his hand and Seal or by his last will and Testament in writing attested by three or more witnesses shall direct and appoint and for want of such direction or appointment I give and devise all and Singular the sd premisses after the decease of my son unto my grandson Robert Hickling and his Heirs for ever

Item I give unto my sd Son all and Singular my Goods and personal Estate whatsoever he paying my Debts and also a Guinea apiece to my Daughter Ann Noble my Son in Law George Noble and to Mr Hurst and his wife Each a Guinea

And I do nominate and appoint my sd son Robert Hickling sole Executor of this my will and declare this to be my last will Revoking all former wills by me made

In witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and Seal this Third day of April Anno Dmi 1721
