Memorandum that John Hawly of Long Claxton in the Countie of Leicester yeoman did severall tymes or at least once declare & speake these words following with an intent to be his last will & Testament nuncupative or by word of mouth, being at the speaking & declaring thereof of perfect mind memorie & understanding vizt that about Michelmas last he did say that his wife (meaning Joane Hawly) should have all that he had and the disposing of his estate (meaning his personall estate) all which words or the like in effect were my him spoken and declared to be his last will & Testament or disposition & bequest nuncupatively in the presence of Richard Hawley Thomas Key & other credible persons
