Thomas Harby of Long Clawson 1821 Will

In the name of God Amen This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Harby of Claxton otherwise Long Clawson in the County of Leicester Wheelwright

First I will and direct that all my just Debts my Funeral and Testamentary expences be well and truly paid and I give and devise All my Messuage or Tenement Workshop Out  Buildings Yard Garden Orchard and Hereditaments situate standing and being in Claxton otherwise Long Clawson aforesaid and all my right interest and Estate therein to my loving Wife Mary Harby for and during the term of her natural Life but will and direct that she shall make no waste or destruction upon the said premises but shall keep them at all times during her Life in tenantable reparation and Condition and from and immediately after her decease I give and devise the said premises with their appurtenances unto my son Thomas Harby his Heirs and Assigns for ever and I give and bequeath to my sons John Harby James Harby Richard Smith Harby and My Daughters Sarah Campion Ann Harby Elizabeth Harby and Helen Harby the sum of one shilling apiece to be paid at my said Wifes decease

Also I give and bequeath to my said loving Wife Mary Harby all my Household Furniture of every kind and my working Tools to be used by her or for her use during her natural Life and immediately after her decease I give and bequeath all my said Household furniture and working Tools to my said son Thomas Harby or his Assigns

All the residue and remainder of my personal estate or what nature or kind soever and wheresoever I give and bequeath to my said loving Wife And I do hereby make and ordain my said loving Wife Mary Harby and my said son Thomas Harby Executrix and Executor of this my last Will and Testament and do hereby ratify and declare this to be my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Harby have hereunto set my hand and Seal this second day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and three

Signed sealed published and declared by the within named Thomas Harby as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as Witnesses thereto

Let a probat be granted to Thomas Harby of Claxton otherwise Long Clawson in the County of Leicester Wheelwright an Executor named in the Will of Thomas Harby who died at Claxton otherwise Long Clawson on the 3d day of January 1821 with power of making the like grant to Mary Harby the Executrix within named when she shall apply for the same

He the said Thomas Harby being duly sworn as well to the faithful Execution of the Will as that the Testator Goods, Chattles & Credits as they were at his death without deducting any Debts owing by him therefrom did not amount to the value of twenty pounds
