This is the last Will and Testament of me Joseph Harby of Harby in the County of Leicester Farmer

I Give and Devise to my Son John Harby the first yard belonging to my dwelling house in Harby aforesaid with the cow hovel Barn and Buildings in the same up to the well together with the use of the said Well To hold the same to him the said John Harby his Heirs and Assigns for ever

I Give and devise unto my Wife Sarah Harby the House and Homestead with the yard and Premises thereunto belonging (not hereinbefore devised to my said Son John Harby) for her life and after her death I give the same to my Son Joseph Harby for his life and after his death to his eldest Son or Daughter to hold to him or her their Heirs and Assigns for ever but if it shall happen that my said son shall die without Issue lawfully begotten I give the same Premises to my Daughter Elizabeth Shilcock for her life and after her death to my Grandson Joseph Shilcock Son of my said Daughter Elizabeth Shilcock To hold the same to him his Heirs and Assigns for ever

I Give to my said Daughter Elizabeth Shilcock the sum of Thirty Pounds which I direct may be paid to her by my executor within twelve calendar months after my death

All my Personal Effects (subject to the payment of the above Legacy and my just debts) I Give and Bequeath unto my said Wife for her life and after her death to my said Son Joseph Harby

And I appoint my said Wife Sarah Harby Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made

In Witness whereof I the said Joseph Harby the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and Seal this twenty second day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eleven

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Joseph Harby the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our Names as Witnesses to the same

Let a probate be granted to Sarah Harby the sole Executrix within named She the said Sarah Harby being duly sworn as well to the faithful Execution of the Will as that the Testators Goods, Chattels & Credits do not amount in value to the Sum of three Hundred Pounds

Bond, bound Joseph Harby farmer and grazier of Harby, William Mann farmer of Wymondham and Matthew Archer farmer and grazier of Harby, £200 5 August 1823.  Condition, wife Sarah was sole Executrix and proved the will of 17 July 1811 and began execution but then died intestate not having fully administered will, bound Joseph Harby to produce inventory and administer estate
